our story.
As a participant in the LaunchPad program at Mount Royal University, Reese was granted the opportunity to start the business he had been thinking of for years. As an avid snowboarder, Reese frequently ran into the issue of not having his snowboard waxed and ready for the next day. There were many reasons for this, but the most prominent was the slow turnaround time of ski shops. Reese figured he was not the only person experiencing this issue, so he created 88 Degree Tuning. A ski and snowboard tuning shop that does not have a physical location; instead, the shop comes to you. With Reese's ski and snowboard tuning skills and marketing and graphic design skills, he started growing the 88 Degree Tuning brand and attracting customers from all over Calgary.
how does it work?
When it comes to ski tuning, we are about as convenient as it gets! Book an appointment through our calendar, and a serviceman will arrive at your door and pick up your skis or snowboard. With our same-day service shop, you can expect to have your equipment back within a couple of hours!

It all started as a question. "Why does this take so long?" The hopeless waiting, questioning if you will be able to go skiing tomorrow. We aim to remove any doubts or fears for tomorrow. Ski and snowboard tuning does not need to take days at a time. This is why we provide the service at your front step and get your equipment back to you as quickly as we can.
We also recognize that people are busy, and no one enjoys running errands in their free time. We want you to have time to spend with those you love doing what you want to do.
